“I feel the most grounded and at peace with who I am with this record,” Kennedy says.

Created as an intentionally crafted map home, The Alchemist threads moments of joy and sorrow together, allowing sadness and hope to exist in equal measure. Across the album, Kennedy explores healing as a nonlinear process that requires honesty, patience, and grace.

The album features previously released singles “Baby Blue,” “Idiot,” and “Good Grief,” alongside the dreamy standout “Willow.” Kennedy describes “Good Grief” and “Willow” as sister songs, two sides of the same coin, where she embraces both grief and light, holding a mirror to the subtle dualities of daily life. Tracks like “Looking For” and “Grassroots” chronicle the long arc of self-discovery, shedding old patterns and reframing love as something first found within.

The Alchemist was written and recorded in collaboration with a close circle of trusted co-writers, including Ben West, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch, Micah Tawlks, Cheyanne Rose, Melissa Fuller, and others. The result is a record that balances intimate storytelling with expansive emotional clarity. “I couldn’t keep having the same party,” Kennedy says of the creative shift behind the album. “Knowing there was something deeper within myself meant I had to be brave enough to go looking for it.”

The Alchemist offers a body of work rooted in radical self-acceptance and emotional truth: a reminder that beauty can bloom even through the hardest places.

The Alchemist will be available everywhere on January 30, 2026.  Tour dates are planned in support of the album.
