Thursday night, Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace closed out Colorado’s summer concert season in explosive fashion at one of the state’s biggest outdoor venues: Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre. The place was overflowing with rock fans, true grunge animals—buzzing with anticipation that had been building for months.
The night kicked off with a jolt from Return to Dust, a rising band out of L.A, who set the tone early with raw energy and a sound that feels like a fresh wave of alternative rock.

Of course the main event was all about the heavy hitters. Breaking Benjamin, fronted by the unmistakable Benjamin Burnley, headlined the night, bringing the thunder with a setlist stacked full of fan favorites.

Still, much of the buzz surrounded supporting act Three Days Grace, and for good reason. The big question going in was “how would the band pull off having two powerhouse frontmen share the stage?” Original vocalist Adam Gontier and current lead Matt Walst

The answer: Flawlessly! From the opening songs, Gontier and Walst stood shoulder to shoulder, trading verses, harmonizing, and at times tossing the spotlight back and forth. Each took turns steering the ship, but together they brought an intensity that electrified the crowd.

The rock community has always been built on unity, and Thursday night was a living reminder. Thousands of voices screamed back lyrics in unison, fists in the air, creating that communal, almost tribal energy that defines modern rock concerts. To cap things off, Gontier gave the audience full permission to “call in sick for an extended long weekend”, to ensure we all enjoyed the evening to the fullest.
