Friday night working-class British Indie Rock Band, The Luka State, kicked off the final stretch of their first-ever North America tour. Growing up listening to a mixture of UK and American Rock, they followed their love for the music, and all began playing music at a young age. Current members include Conrad Ellis on guitar and lead vocals, Lewis Pusey on lead guitar, Same Bell on Bass and backup vocals, followed by Jake Barnabas on percussions. After leaving Denver, the bands set off to California to perform four before working their way back to the east coast for their final set in Carrboro, NC.

Traveling alongside Luka State on tour is young blood rockstar Micky James, a newcomer to the tour that joined the tour earlier during their stop in Chicago, IL, Cousin Simple, and local artists, Heart Shaped Zombie. Each band brought its own style that made for one hell of a great show. Check out the photos captured by Jason Simmons along with some of the band’s music videos below.

Setlist – Feel It, Inser.G.N.H, Stick Around, Girl, Matter of Fact, Bring Us Down, 30Minute Break, Kick In The Teeth, Metamorphosis, Rooms on Fire, What’s My Problem, More Than This, Oxygen Thief, Bury Me
