The boys are back in town!

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band are back at the Grizzly Rose this week after spending about a month in North Dakota. Playing a mix of newer country, but swinging more toward a Classic Country sound, Nathan Dean led the band through a ton of songs on Tuesday night to start off their stay in Denver.

Featuring Nathan Dean on vocals and guitar, Jason Judd on guitar and vocals, Nick Miranda III on bass and vocals, and Bill Bogan on drums and vocals, the band played original tunes as well as covering some of Country Music’s most recognizable anthems. ND&TDB kicked off the night with Alan Jackson’s Chattahoochee. During the first set, they also played other time-honored tunes such as Guitars, Cadillacs by Dwight Yoakam, George Strait’s Fireman, I Think I’ll Just Stay Here And Drink by Merle Haggard, Boot Scootin’ Boogie from Brooks and Dunn, to name a few. The also played an original song called When I’m Gone which will be on a new release called Citizen of the Universe, which will be dedicated to their old band mate, Larry D.

Dancers at the Grizzly Rose were contented by the variety of different songs they could boogie to, including two-step, line-dancing, waltz and cha-cha.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band are on their One More Bender Tour until September and will be heading back home to Arizona then. Look for that new music to be released soon.

No two-week stay for ND&TDB this trip, and they won’t be making back for a while, so get out and see them while they’re still here.
