The genre-bending star, mgk, formerly known as Machine Gun Kelly, proved precisely why his fan base continues to expand while performing at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Saturday, December 6, 2025. He effortlessly shifts from his rap and hip-hop roots to alternative rock and punk pop inside his electrifying live concert. The vocalist, songwriter, producer and actor completely captivated the sold-out arena. It was as if mgk orchestrated a collective experience stitching the crowd together with his clever and epic sound and stage spectacle paired with raw and vulnerable storytelling.

The Lost Americana 2025/2026 global tour kicked off in November of 2025 and will traverse the globe during a the multi-month run visiting 63 cities. Lost Americana, released August 8, 2025. It is mgk’s first full album launch since 2022’s Mainstream Sellout.

5 Reasons You Need to See the mgk Lost Americana Tour Live
- The dramatic opening song and stage entrance launched the performance in a powerful way. The star rose through the mouth of a haphazard and disillusioned Statue of Liberty. In the mgk stage version, Lady Liberty has her nose pierced similar to his own. Her outstretched arm is holding a lit cigarette instead of a burning torch. An epic and unforgettable first chapter of the show.

- With Rook on drums and the endlessly dynamic Sophie Lloyd on guitar, mgk surrounds himself with outstanding musical talent. Rook served the crowd an incredible drum solo worth the price of the ticket. Watching the magic of his talent attacking drums with a mix of punk, hip-hop and rock swagger felt mesmerizing. With sticks moving so fast they blur and the walls of the arena vibrating, he masterfully translated soul into sound. Sophie Lloyd delivered precise riffs and chords while jumping and doing backbends on stage. Her presence is magnetic and she brings a cinematic edge to the band. The crowd’s reaction was a collective wow whenever she stepped forward for a solo. She’s a force proving that technical excellence and clever showmanship can live inside the same song.

3. There was a reoccurring gesture throughout the show that impressed me over and over. It was like a visual explanation point for his music as mgk tosses and catches his microphone. In one fluid motion, he flings it skyward, never breaking eye contact with the crowd or missing a lyric. The mic summersaults and then lands cleanly back in his hand. The toss and catch mirrors his performance style: a little chaotic on the surface but precise and intentional at its core. I saw at least a half dozen impressive catches and zero mishaps.

4. The dedication of “Lonely Road” to his mom was one of the highlights of the evening. He shared insights into how pain is a common thread we all share and it’s something that connects us all. He implored the audience to check on others outside the walls of the arena and remember that we don’t know the challenges people are going through. Delivering songs while sitting on a bar stool in an intimate corner of the arena felt like a personal serenade. Other emotional moments included a tender tribute to his oldest daughter, Casie, as he sang “play this when i’m gone” facing home videos projected on an enormous screen. A second tribute to Dingo during “your name forever” honored a friend who sadly passed away earlier this year.

5. Midway through his set he shared a story about meeting a young fan at a coffee shop in Milwaukee. During their meeting mgk promised to pull her up on stage. He did just that and told the crowd “mgk keeps his promises.”

After selling out the arena, mgk was gifted a custom Milwaukee Bucks Championship belt, which he strapped on early in the set expressing gratitude to his fans.

During “Vampire Diaries” the venue shook with synchronized jumping and one of the loudest singalongs of the night making it a perfect ending to nearly 30-song set list.

Rising alt-pop artist Julia Wolf opened the night. She also joined mgk during his set to cover the Goo Goo Dolls evocative song “Iris.” They infused the ballad with raw emotion during their soaring duet. The song is available on all streaming platforms and it is definitely worth clicking to listen.
