Yoke Lore – otherwise known Adrian Galvin is a Los Angeles-based visual artist who has been immersed in music for his entire life. He grew up in Katonah, NY among a highly creative, intensely spiritual family. His musical journey began with countless bands, including a role as founding member of Walk The Moon, with whom he co-wrote the chart-topping debut single, “Anna Sun.” On August 8 Yoke Lore released new music with “Hyperventilate” making its debut. In an Instagram post, the song was introduced with a beautiful introduction: “Relationships end, success ebbs and flows, and the cyclic nature of our universe compels our constant motion. It’s hard not to fight against the rush of life. It’s hard to let the waves of time and space wash over you, it’s hard to be swept away.”

In 2016, Galvin began performing solo as Yoke Lore, shaped in part by his growing interest in the banjo, the sound of deliverance set to five strings. He quickly found success with 2017’s RIAA Gold-certified song “Beige,” earning millions of worldwide streams amidst ecstatic critical recognition.

An extended series of singles, EPs, collaborations, film scores, and international live performances (including tours alongside Bastille, Bishop Briggs, Mt. Joy, and The Head and The Heart, among others) followed, all of which saw Galvin amassing over 450 million worldwide streams while fusing his myriad creative passions into a singular and cohesive form of expression.

Yoke Lore’s full length debut, Toward a Never Ending New Beginning, launched in 2023, solidifying Galvin’s distinctive approach with thoughtful reflection and raw, unfiltered honesty, transcending songcraft and genre into an intricately hewed vision altogether his own.

Yoke Lore kicks off a fall tour September 12, 2025.
