
Texas Country Singer/Songwriter Wade Bowen from Waco, TX, returned to The Grizzly Rose on Friday night. Playing a hefty helping of songs from Flyin, which was released in 2024. Bowen engaged fans with songs Friday Night, Rainin’ on Me, and Nothin’ But Texas.
Bowen was supported by Nicholas Gardner on guitar, Caleb Jones on bass, and Sean Sanke on drums. Bowen and his band kept the Red Dirt rolling with Resurrection, Saturday Night, ‘Til It Does, Who I Am, West Texas Rain, Songs About Trucks, and more. Find the full setlist below.

Denver’s own Union Gray opened up the show with their country-rock sounds. Led by Scott Gray on lead vocals and guitar, Union Gray performed solid original tunes such as Don’t It Make You Wanna Dance, 31 Miles to Wheatland, Just Wanted You To Know, and Albuquerque Sunset. Songs from their most recent release included the title track, Rocky Mountain Raised, I Swear, Long Gone, Don’t Say, and finishing their set with First Time and Long Gone. Union Gray hit their marks and played their originals, as well as classic Red Dirt covers, including Cry Lonely, Grow Old, and Boys From Oklahoma, to the early arrivals.
