Nashville recording artist and singer-songwriter, Josh Roy from Arizona, started off the night with originals that included Break My Own Heart, Three Days In Mexico, You’re Gonna Hate This Song, Live Life, Cowboys Still Ride, and Don’t Quit the Band. Roy also partied up the crowd with Dust on the Bottle, Dance Her Home, Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old), Amarillo By Morning, and Should’ve Been a Cowboy. Roy also caught the attention of the growing throng with a moment of silence and a touching song, Angels Cry, as a military salute.
Josh Roy was the lead singer and played acoustic guitar, Jake Sterns was on drums, Mark Soto was on bass and backing vocals, and Todd Kenyon was on lead guitar and backing vocals.
