William Clark Green returned to The Grizzly Rose for the freakshow Friday night. WCG is an American singer-songwriter based out of Austin, and he is known for his Texas Country, Red Dirt sounds. Two of his best friends are his paper and his pen, but on stage, he’s supported by Steven Marcus on guitar, Jared French on guitar, Steven Buehler on bass, Cale Richardson on keys, and Logan Bowers on drums, Green started his set with his new release Whole Lotta Lubbock. WCG explains that the lowest moments of his life have created his best songs.

Playing from 6 studio albums and 2 live releases, Green gave devotees an amazing set and showed new followers what he’s all about through songs such as Next Big Thing, Creek Don’t Rise, Baker Hotel, Poor, and Old Fashioned. WCG also had the crowd singing along to Ringling Road and She Likes the Beatles. Find the full setlist below. If you missed this show, I don’t have no Sympathy.

Zach Neil had a little something for everyone; Cowboy music, Honky Tonk music, Texas Country, and 90’s Country. Supporting Neil on stage were Jason Oliver on bass, Sam Hunt on guitar, and Jarrod Willson on drums.

Neil and his band out of Nashville fully entertained the growing horde of buckaroos by blasting out covers such as Tougher Than the Rest, Past the Point of Rescue, and Long Haired Country Boy, and sharing original tunes When She Drinks Whiskey, Long Live the Cowboy, Something in the Stars, Till the Numbers Run Out, What Cowgirls Do, and Half Bad. Neil captured listeners’ attention with his deep voice, country attitude, and cowboy spirit. Find the full setlist below.
