Friday night at The Grizzly Rose was a compelling collision of Alabama and Texas sounds with the Blow Up Your TV Tour. Drake White, out of Hokes Bluff, AL, and also playing out of Nashville, awed audience members with a high-energy set that showed who White really is, a skilled musician and a talented performer. White mixes his self-described freestyle-country, funk-time, river-rat Blues sounds with a shot of moxie and chaser of spunk. White spoke of overcoming an on-stage stroke in 2019 and how he has more life to live and more songs to give. White was truly Livin’ the Dream with songs such as It Feels Good, Power of a Woman, Making Me Look Good Again, and rocking out with Hard to Handle. Find the full setlist in the photos below.

White was supported on stage by Boone Daughdrill on drums, Seth Bolte on bass guitar, Devin Trout on lead guitar, and Graham Mallany on guitar and keys. Also noting, White released The Bridge last month.
