The Halloween Ball at the World Famous Grizzly Rose in Denver on Saturday night brought out Taco Bell Hot Sauces, zombies, Al & Peg Bundy complete with an officiating crew reliving the time of Al scoring 4 touchdowns in a single game for Polk High, Gilligan Island castaways, plenty of Alices in Wonderland, Superheros and Villains, Cobra Kai, Sandy from Grease, Forrest Gump, Toy Story characters, and many Covid and vaccination-themed costumes, all ready for a spooky good time.
The Halloween Ball featured Last Chance Band who had been playing at the Grizzly Rose this week and opened for Stoney Larue on Friday night. Last Chance Band, out of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, has been together since 2012 and has spent most of their time together playing in the upper northwest of the US.
They ventured to Denver for the first time this week and acquired a bunch of new fans in Colorado. Playing recognizable tunes like Dust On The Bottle and Sweet Home Alabama, LCB had the crazed, dressed-up crowd dancing and singing along all night. Last Chance Band had frontman Chance Long on vocals and guitar, Steve Harms on vocals and guitar, Lance Shew on vocals and bass, and Nick Halpen in drums.
Check out their first single, Dirty, from September 2019.
