Justin Lee Partin, singer/songwriter based out of Gainesville, Florida, opened the show Friday night. He has one of those voices that seems familiar when you first hear him, but unique. The band has a good sound and had the fans out on the floor dancing during their entire set. They’ve been touring around the US and have opened for new comer Riley Green, as well as some other artists like Travis Tritt, Justin Moore, Craig Morgan, Dustin Lynch, and Billy Currington. It was their first time playing at The Grizzly Rose, but, I am confident that it won’t be their last! You can find them out on tour by following the dates on their website: https://www.justinleepartinmusic.com/tourdates

They released a new song earlier this year, “Redeye” check it out on You Tube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8PvWB2wSaU

Kevin Fowler was the headliner, he loves playing at The Grizzly Rose and his Denver fans were there singing back every song to him! Kevin is from Texas, and interestingly he started out playing in rock bands before finding his place in country music! He went “old school” throughout the night, singing fan favorites from his albums and mixed in some new songs from his latest album, Barstool Stories, just released in August! His style is very personable and it’s evident that he loves entertaining his fans, inviting the crowd to have fun and sing along and he proudly joked that he was celebrated for having the most songs about beer! (There are several!) He also shared a funny comment about the song “Don’t Touch My Willie”, his mom thinks the song is too “nasty” and he said he’ll never sing that song when she’s around!
