Lost Lake Lounge was a sauna on Friday night, but bands were cool. Boston Art-Rock band, Bent Knee, brought their avant-garde, baroque pop sounds to Denver and their fans were ready to be a part of the band’s Paper Earth Tour. The all-ages crowd was entertained by amazing vocals and skilled performers.
Bent Knee had Courtney Swain on Vivacious Vocals and Keys, Ben Levin on Guitar, Chris Baum on Violin, Jessica Kion on Bass, and Vince Welch working Production and Sound Design. Gavin Wallace-Ailsworth would have been on Drums, but due to a recent injury the Gatherers’ drummer filled in. Gatherers have been traveling with Bent Knee to open their shows this summer. They are not just along for the ride. Playing on Equal Vision Records and from New Jersey, Gatherers, hit number 41 on the Billboard Charts with their release of We Are Alive Beyond Repair and set sail on tour to gather more fans of their Post-Hardcore Rock band.
