Comprised of handcrafted pop hooks, cinematic electronic beats, theatrical panache, and cleverly colloquial lyrics, the LP contains 13 tracks that perfectly showcase the band’s undeniable knack for songwriting. The Click immediately shot to #4 on the iTunes Pop Albums Chart and #12 overall upon release. AJR is also currently featured as Apple Music’s New Artist of the Week. Yesterday, they unveiled “Sober Up,” a new track off the album which features Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo and premiered via Billboard.com.
The Click is the full length follow up to the band’s What Everyone’s Thinking EP and includes certified GOLD single “Weak.” Racking up over 200 million streams on Spotify alone, “Weak” landed the band a national TV appearance on TODAY, recently broke the Billboard Hot 100 and currently sits in the Top 20 on the iTunes Pop Chart. With major market support from the likes of SiriusXM Hits1, Z100 New York, WKSC Chicago, WQMP Orlando, WRVW Nashville, Radio Disney and more, the track is #27 and climbing at Top 40 Radio. After a completely SOLD-OUT East Coast tour, the group will celebrate the release of the new album by embarking on the ‘What Everyone’s Thinking Tour Part II.’ The tour will bring the brothers to the West Coast with special album release shows at In The Venue in Salt Lake City, The Troubadour in Los Angeles and Bowery Ballroom in New York City, with NYC and LA completely sold out! Following the band’s busy summer, AJR will perform a set at Austin City Limits in October. Full tour routing below. For ticket information please log on to ajrbrothers.com.
“The Click is an album about the insecurity that comes with growing up into an adult,” explains bass player Adam. “It’s about both the mundane, unimportant problems and the bigger, more profound issues facing a twenty-something year old.”
