June 07, 2017 — Dan Croll has premiered his video directed by Greg Barnes (Nathaniel Ratecliff and The Night Sweats, The Beach, Haus) today for “Bad Boy” on DIY Mag – PRESS HERE to watch. The new single, which is the first American release from his sophomore album Emerging Adulthood, is a pop triumph, delving into Croll’s speckled-diversity as a songwriter, combining twinges of old-fashioned jazz and vintage-rock instrumentations with the purest moments of modern pop structures.
Following his 2014 critically-lauded debut album Sweet Disarray, the release of “Bad Boy” announces the reappearance of Croll in the States. The track joins three previously available instant downloads for the pre-orders for Emerging Adulthood, including space-aged, lounge-pop jam “Away From Today,” euphorically-atmospheric song  “Swim,” and “One of Us,” which Noisey described as “surf rock Weezer-meets-Fountains of Wayne.” All four tracks, which will appear on Emerging Adulthood, were produced by Grammy-winning Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Cee-Lo Green, Matt & Kim) in Atlanta’s Milk Money StudiosEmerging Adulthood is set for release on July 21, 2017 via Kobalt Music Group and Communion Records.
