Tracy Byrd returned to the World Famous Grizzly Rose where friends were twisting off on Friday night. Showing Big Love and his big smile to the crazies and old wildcats that have been singing along for over 30 years, Texas-legend Byrd played guitar and sang the vocals and was supported by Chad Ware on guitar, tour manager Vernon Emshoff on keyboard and backing vocals, Timmy Patterson on bass, Tyler Henderson on drums, Joe Rogers on steel guitar, Dale Morris, Jr. on fiddle, Jeff Hudson with Merch Sales and Touring Manager, a.k.a Cuz, and Trevor Schumann as Sound Man/Production Manager.

Byrd and his band, The ByrdDawgs, played songs such as I’m From the Country, Don’t Take Her She’s All I Got, Holdin’ Heaven, First Step, Love Lessons, Lifestyles Of The Not So Rich & Famous, 10 Rounds with Jose Cuervo, Keeper Of The Stars, and Watermelon Crawl. Find the full setlist below.

Duey & Unbroken started the night with recognizable hits mixed in with life lessons and sage advice. Led by Duane Weibel on guitar and lead vocals, and supported by Kenny Wilson on drums, Kevin Brown on vocals and lead guitar, Todd Clayton on steel guitar, and Ariel Tsukuba Yamada on bass, the band prepared the growing crowd for the impending 90s country party.

Duey & Unbroken featured intense crowd participation, the best way to take in live music. Pitching the men in the audience against the women for the Friends in Low Places sing-off, Weibel showed he could control the rowdy crowd as the towering frontman, stirring up the energy and warming up everyone’s vocal chords with songs such as Dance Her Home, Cadillac Cowboy, Should’ve Been a Cowboy, Till You Can’t, and Dear Rodeo. Duey and Unbroken also captured full attention with solid covers of In Color and Don’t Touch My Willie. The full setlist is in the photos below.
