Indie Rock Trio, FOXTRAX, Ben Schneid (Vocals, Guitar) Jared Stenz (Bass) and Jon Stenz (Drums) are thrilled to announce that they will be opening for Barns Courtney on the first leg of his tour starting in May. Before then, they will be heading to Austin for SXSW as one of the official showcasing artists. See tour dates below.

Lead Singer, Ben Schneid, says “I couldn’t be more stoked for the months that lie ahead. I have never been to Austin so that’s going to be an incredible life experience. The same can can be said about the Barns tour. I personally haven’t been to half the cities that we are stopping in. All these new experiences are sure to be super inspiring and usually there are great songs around the corner when there is new and exciting energy is in the air. I can’t wait to watch barns play every night. His energy is insane and I’m hoping some of that will rub off on us.”

Long Island Natives, FOXTRAX began making their own brand of indie rock together in early 2015 after they each graduated from college. The band wrote a handful of demos that would eventually became The Cabin EP that was released in July 2016.

The Cabin EP is a collection of emotive lyrics, intricate instrumentals and pop-anthem style choruses allowed FOXTRAX to show their effortlessly and effectively weave between genres. The name FOXTRAX was created after the trio realized that the fox tracks left in the snow outside their cabin represented their own unpredictable and meandering path into music.

Following the release of the EP, their song “Underwater” was an Alternative Spotlight track at iTunes/Apple Music and featured on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation channel. They were added on as the New Music Favorites with Ticketmaster and have over 100,000 spins on all streaming platforms. This is just the beginning for the talented indie rockers.
