The album is now available on Amazon, iTunes / Apple Music, Spotify and at the I’m With Her Store. See You Around is also available as an indie exclusive, limited edition light blue LP via the Record Store Day website. Additionally, I’m With Her will make their TV debut on CBS Saturday Morning on February 24th.
Last week, See You Around was released exclusively as an NPR First Listen and instantly hailed as “willfully open-hearted.” The album offers a distinguished, collaborative musicality that reflects each band member’s individual musical roots while displaying their ability to seamlessly intertwine atop 12 tracks of crystal-clear harmonies and lush string tones. See You Around imbues I’m With Her’s sonic palette with subtly captivating elements – from the enchanting title track to the percussive vocal phrasing of “Game to Lose,” (video directed by Genéa Gaudet), to the romantic cross-country travel tale of “Overland.” Each song on the album, with the exception of the Gillian Welch-penned “Hundred Miles,” was written by the band.
After years of crossing paths in their intersecting scenes, I’m With Her came together by happenstance for an off-the-cuff performance at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival during the summer of 2014. The multi-Grammy-Award-winners have individually released nine solo efforts, co-founded two seminal bands (Nickel Creek and Crooked Still), and contributed to critically acclaimed albums from a host of esteemed artists.
I’m With Her continues on their headlining world tour this Tuesday with a special in-store performance at Rough Trade in NYC. The band will play several sold out shows over the coming months with stops along the way in Los Angeles, Paris, London, and more – full list of tour dates is below.
