
Red Dirt artist Wyatt Flores will be a Special Guest for the Post Malone/Jelly Roll show at Empower Field at Mile High this afternoon, but first, he was the Pop-Up concert at The Grizzly Rose on Saturday night.
Flores is out of Stillwater, Oklahoma, coming from the Red Dirt camp of The Great Divide. He played and played and played. Flores included new songs, cover songs, and his older songs. He had the crowd singing along all night with songs such as Wanted, Jersey Giant, Welcome to the Plains, Losing Sleep, Russell County Line, Little Town, Hard Travelin’, and Wildcat.
Supported by Jake Lynn on drums, Clem Braden on mandolin, and Austin Yanunas on guitar, Flores had some fun with covers of Sister Golden Hair, How to Save a Life, Mr. Jones, La Bamba, and Alabama. Other new songs included Tulsa and Eleanor, Never Made it Home, Sleepless Lullaby, and I’d Hate Me Too. Find the full setlist here.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band from Phoenix, Arizona, opened the show doing that thing they do, delivering sets of Red Dirt, Black Dirt, Joe Dirt, and Joe Mama, which showcased their original music and a diverse range of covers.
Running with no setlist, Nathan Dean & The Damn Band’s incorporated good-timin’ anthems and drinking songs. NDATDB started with Pearl Snap Shirts and I Think I’ll Just Stay Here and Drink, before their original tune, One More Bender.
Nathan Dean & The Damn Band earned more presidential flashcards with Feathered Indians, Big City Stripper, Wondering Why, another original Son of a Gun, Tulsa Time, Carney Man, and Good Time.
They also kept the party going with originals Cheap Liquor and That’s My Kind of Bar, and more solid covers of Oklahoma Smoke Show, I Never Lie, Every Girl, 17, Nobody’s Girl, I Lose Control, and ‘Til You Can’t.
Nathan “Cap’n Geech” Dean, on guitar and vocals, was supported by Bill “Shades” Bogan on drums and backing vocals, Ty “Wolfman” Thompson on guitar and vocals, and Chris “Tight Pants” Duke on bass.
