Maryland native Jackson Dean returned to the World Famous Grizzly Rose to SELL IT OUT on Friday night as part of his Back Of My Dreams Tour.

Dean and his band shared songs from his most recent release, On the Back of My Dreams, starting with the opening songs, Still Ragin’ and Duct Tape Heart, and included recognizable tunes from his debut album Greenbroke, adding in Trailer Park, Fearless, Wings and Fearless.

Dean and his band, which included Brandon Aksteter on lead guitar, Rich Kolm on bass, Sean Mercer on drums, and Trevor Shipley on keys and guitar, also featured classic country sounds with songs such as Big Blue Sky, 1971, Real Real, Train, Sweet Appalachia, Free, Daddy Raised, Heaven, Don’t Come Lookin’, Another Century, and Heavens to Betsy. Duey & Unbroken started the night with recognizable hits mixed in with life lessons and sage advice. Led by Duane Weibel on guitar and lead vocals, and supported by Kenny Wilson on drums, Cory Linn on vocals and lead guitar, Todd Clayton on steel guitar, and Ariel Tsukuba Yamada on bass, the band prepared the growing crowd for the impending party.

Duey & Unbroken featured intense crowd participation, the best way to take in live music. Pitching the men in the audience against the women for the Friends in Low Places sing-off, Weibel showed he could control the rowdy crowd as the towering frontman, stirring up the energy and warming up everyone’s vocal chords with songs such as Dance Her Home, Lot of Leavin’ Left To Do, Should’ve Been a Cowboy, Feathered Indians, and Dear Rodeo. Duey and Unbroken also captured full attention with solid covers of In Color and I Never Lie. The full setlist is in the photos below.
