The National Western Stock Show is in full swing, and the frigid stock show weather has hit Denver. Tanner Usrey brought his Texas country to heat up The Grizzly Rose on Friday night.

Supported by Tyler Wilkerson on lead guitar, Trevor Wilkerson on drums, Hutton Ferrell on lead guitar, and Ryan Korn on bass, Usrey snowed listeners with songs such as Bad Love, Blackberry Wine, and The Mercury, and a strong serving of tunes from his 2023 release, Crossing Lines. Those songs included Take Me Home, Give It Some Time, Crossing Lines, Black Widow, Destiny, and Guns Drugs and Allergy Pills. Find the full setlist below.

Usrey will be joining Cody Jinks for his Hippies and Cowboys Tour which will stop at Red Rocks on July 26. Check TannerUsreymusic.com for more information.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band from Phoenix, Arizona, played a set of Camelback country that highlighted their original music and a wide range of covers. Feeling out the crowd and running with no setlist, Nathan Dean & The Damn Band incorporated good-timin’ tunes and drinking songs for the early arrivers. NDATDB kept things shaking with Son of a Gun, Cheap Liquor, Sh*t I Would, One More Bender, and That’s My Kind of Bar.

NDATDB also played solid covers of Cross Canadian Ragweed’s 17, Reckless Kelly’s Nobody’s Girl, Teddy Swims’ Lose Control, Zach Bryan’s Oklahoma Smokeshow, Noah Kahan’s Stick Season, and Zach Top’s I Never Lie, Tyler Childers’ Feathered Indians, Chris Stapleton’s You Should Probably Leave, and Turnpike Troubadours’ Long Hot Summer Day.

Dreamy Draw Nathan Dean, on guitar and vocals, was supported by Moonhill Bill Bogan on his Black Beauty drums and backing vocals, Rawhide Jason Judd on guitar and vocals, and Sunnyslope Chris Duke on bass.
