You can count on three things in Denver during January: broken New Year’s resolutions, cold weather for the National Western Stock Show, and colossal concerts at The World Famous Grizzly Rose.
Prolific songwriter out of Houston, TX, Robert Earl Keen returned to Denver as he hosted the sing-a-long-to-the-hits session at the sold-out venue on Friday night. REK had hung up his guitar strings for a short time, realized that he missed it, and got back on the road and the stage. He had his fans Feelin’ Good Again, with many memorable songs that included I’m Comin’ Home, Corpus Christi Bay, and The Road Goes On Forever. Find the full setlist in the photos below.

Jeff Crosby, out of Idaho, impressed listeners with his Folk Rock, and Americana offerings with songs such as Best $25 I Ever Spent, Runnin’ Free, Mother’s God, Hold This Town Together, The Garden, Laramie, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Isn’t Dead. Neil and his band out of Nashville fully entertained the growing horde of buckaroos by blasting them with a run of original music ‘Til the Numbers Run Out, When She Drinks Whiskey, Long Live the Cowboy, Something in the Stars, All The Pretty Horses, What Cowgirls Do, and Half Bad, with a solid cover of Past the Point of Rescue.
