Texans are moving into Colorado in droves. Is it Buc-ees making them feel at home, or is it all the good Texas music coming to The Grizzly Rose? Hailing from Lubbock, Pecos and The Rooftops made their debut at the historic honky-tonk. It was a bash from the start as lead vocalist Pecos Hurley soaked the front-row with cold beer, and then crushed listeners with their Texas Country sounds.

Pecos and the Rooftops had Pecos Hurley on lead vocals and guitar, Brandon Jones on rhythm guitar, Jessie Santos on lead guitar, Kalen Davis on bass, Garrett Peltier on drums, and Hunter Cassell on guitars & keys.

Pecos and The Rooftops started their rocking set with Yesteryear and Last Thing I Remember, and then hit onlookers right square in the heart with Happy. Other songs that had fans singing along included 5AM, Leave Me Lonely, and More or Less. They ended their show with their newest release Sweet Tumbleweed and their most popular song to date, This Damn Song. Find the full setlist below.

The Huser Brother Band out of Waco, TX, played before Pecos and The Rooftops took the stage. Playing songs such as Wild Child, Missin’ You, Messed Around, and Honey,  the band had the growing crowd howling and ready to rock. Find their setlist in the photos below.

Huser Brother Band has Josh Huser on lead vocals and guitar, Zach Huser on drums and backing vocals, Christian Barrientos on bass, and Hunter Cassell on lead guitar.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band from Phoenix, Arizona, played a set that highlighted their original music and a wide range of covers. Nathan Dean & The Damn Band incorporated good-timin’ tunes and drinking songs for the early arrivers. NDATDB kept things shaking with Son of a Gun, Cheap Liquor, One More Bender, and That’s My Kind of Bar.

NDATDB also played solid covers of Cross Canadian Ragweed’s 17, Teddy Swims’ Lose Control, and Zach Bryan’s Oklahoma Smokeshow.

Nathan Dean, on guitar and vocals, was supported by Bill Bogan on drums and backing vocals, Jason Judd on guitar and vocals, and Chris Duke on bass.
