“It may be Friday the 13th, but it is still Friday, and a reason to dance!” -Unknown. Fort Worth native Drake Milligan bought the Texas dancing music to The Grizzly Rose on Friday night. Now out of Nashville, this American Idol and America’s Got Talent alum, Milligan showcased his talents with songs like Bad Day to Be a Beer, Over Drinkin’ Under Thinkin, Tipping Point, and his new song I Got a Problem.

Milligan was supported by Ryan de Mers on electric guitar and vocals, Kelly Hagan on fiddle and vocals, Adam Story on keys, Kramer Sell on drums and vocals, and Clay Sell on bass guitar. Milligan and his band kept the party going with Goin’ Down Swingin’ and Jukebox Song and Barstool Beers. Find the full setlist below

Wynn Williams, also from Texas, impressed listeners with classic country sounds with songs Long Gone, Man What a Woman, and Down in Mexico, among others. Supported by Drew Middlebrook on guitar, Paul Stauskas on pedal steel, Caeden Berenman on drums, and Colby Blahuta on bass, Williams had the crowd singing along with All Over Me and Tornado.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band from Phoenix, Arizona, played a gnarly set of mostly original music. It was cool beans as Nathan Dean & The Damn Band incorporated good-timin’ tunes and choice drinking songs. NDATDB kept things shaking with Son of a Gun, Cheap Liquor, One More Bender, Small Town USA, Sh*t I Would, and That’s My Kind of Bar.

NDATDB also played a righteous cover of Beautiful Things.

Neato Nathan Dean was on guitar and vocals and was supported by Bodacious Bill Bogan on drums and backing vocals, the rad Jason Judd on guitar and vocals, and the totally tubular Chris Duke on bass.

Nathan Dean & The Damn Band was all that and a bag of chips. Check the deats at nathandean.net.
