Texas Country legend Pat Green returned to The Grizzly Rose on Friday night. His goal for the night was to sing some songs and drink some beer. That mission was accomplished as he enthralled fans with his monumental hits that included Me and Billy the Kid, Baby Doll, Three Days, and Carry On.
Green was supported by Mike Tuck on guitar and steel guitar, Sean Giddings on keys, Michael Kelton on drums, Matt Slagle on bass, and Chris Strobot on guitar.
Local Superfan Mark Muklebust was in attendance and just might retire his shiny boots after this show. It’s been a good run. Now, has anyone seen his hat?
It felt just like it should as Green kept the party going with Take Me Out to a Dancehall, Three Days, Crazy, Songs About Texas, and he finished his show with Wave on Wave. Find the full setlist in the photos below. Visit PatGreen.com for more information.
From Birmingham, Alabama, Slamabama opened the night by putting their southern style on solid country covers of We Are Tonight, Brand New Man, Somebody Like You, Man I Feel Like a Woman, and Delta Dawn. Slamabama kept the singalongs going with Country Roads, and added original tunes that included Boys Break Things, All the Sudden and Funday Sunday. Slamabama also captured the attention of the full venue with their rendition of the National Anthem, giving a full salute to all veterans. Find the full setlist below.
Slamabama featured Rosanna Juliano on vocals, Jasper Juliano on guitar and vocals, Dennie Lee on bass and vocals, and Alec Garcia on drums.
