A moving documentary film will be premiering at this year’s Denver Film Festival, Ileana’s Smile.
Ileana’s Smile follows iconic folk-rock band DISPATCH’s co-founder Brad Corrigan, a Nicaraguan taxi driver, and pastor Bismark Rocha and their unlikely friendship with Ileana, a girl with a lightning smile who endures life in a trash dump community in Managua, Nicaragua.
The matinee screening will be at 4pm on November 4 at the MCA Denver Holiday Theater, followed by a Build Hope Benefit from 6:30pm on at Lady Nomada, Arvada. There will also be a live performance by Love Light + Melody’s founder – Brad, updates from Ileana’s School of Hope director Sheyla Marenco and a cultivated, culinary experience from Gastamo Group.
