With socially insightful lyrics and an adept ability to progress their sound and experiment between the diverse genres that shape them as a band, Nothing But Thieves are making a statement return, marking an innovative new chapter with Dead Club City. Throughout the 11-track collection, Nothing But Thieves showcase their city-sized, members-only club, Dead Club City. The album’s tracklist and overall narrative are formed by different characters and story arcs from in and around the city. Using the club as a focal point, it is easy to imagine the real-world meaning behind Dead Club City. Themes such as advertisement, unity, internet culture, the music industry, aging and politics, as well as escapism and change are highlighted by the alienation or privilege of a members-only club. Recorded and self-produced by NBT guitarist Dominic Craik along with Jonathan Gilmore, the songs on Dead Club City are vividly alive with big ideas, pop hooks, soul flourishes, hip-hop beats, crunchy riffs, and lead vocalist Conor Mason’s remarkable and slinky falsetto.

Over the past decade, Southend, UK quintet Nothing But Thieves – Conor Mason (vocals, guitar), Joe Langridge-Brown (guitars), Dominic Craik (guitars, keyboard), Philip Blake (bass), and James Price (drums) – has built a loyal and wide following for their impactful alt-rock sound, amassing over 1.2 million worldwide album sales2 billion worldwide streams, and 300 million video views in addition to multiple gold and platinum records around the world.
