Woodsongs Producer and show host Michael Johnathon has garnered mass multi-media attention over the past 15 years, and films in front of a live audience in Lexington, Kentucky at the historic Lyric Theatre.

Kyle Dillingham is excited to announce his appearance on WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour, the largest Folk and Roots broadcast in the world, will begin airing on Saturday, June 23 across the show’s entire broadcast affiliate network. For Dillingham’s home state listeners in Oklahoma, the broadcast will be aired on High Plains Public Radio, KCCU, and KUCO.

WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour currently airs on 515 radio stations worldwide – including 173 countries internationally – along with every U.S. military base and Naval vessel around the world via the American Forces Radio Network. WoodSongs is both a radio and television production that fosters the comradery of both musicians and music lovers to celebrate the traditional American experience through song. The show’s television broadcast will be seen on RFD-TV, with the actual broadcast date being announced at a later time.

Dillingham will join a talented list of artists to have performed on Woodsongs, including: The Avett Brothers, John Oates, Emmylou Harris, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Jewel, Melissa Etheredge, Norah Jones, Bela Fleck, Richie Havens, Lee Ann Womack, amongst others.

In addition, Dillingham’s broadcast will be used as a part of ‘WoodSongs in the Classroom’, a Music & Arts Education Project involving music, history, language arts and more designed to encourage community and creativity. WoodSongs is the only syndicated broadcast with such a heavy emphasis on education for middle, high school and college level studies.

About Kyle Dillingham:
Kyle Dillingham picked up the violin when he was nine, and eight years later, he gave two featured performances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Kyle is now managed by legendary impresario, Jim Halsey, who has guided the careers of many great performers including Roy Clark, The Oak Ridge Boys and James Brown.
