First featured during the opening ceremonies and broadcasted to over 350 million viewers worldwide, this determined band of brothers are going for the gold, having their talent showcased on one of the world’s largest stages.

“Rust to Gold” was recorded at EastWest Studios in Los Angeles. The song was produced by Grammy-nominated producer Justin Gray (Mariah Carey, John Legend) and ten-time Grammy-nominated mixer Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers) with additional production by Dave and P. “Rust to Gold” has already garnered over five million streams across all streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.

Council hails from Baldwinsville, NY where they grew up working on a farm during the day. As the band began honing their craft at night in their family barn – their commitment to music started scoring them big wins. Prior to their signing to Five Seven Music (part of Eleven Seven Label Group), Council established themselves as one of the top up-and-coming bands to watch, gaining both local and national attention for their unique sound and charismatic performances, opening for bands such as The All American Rejects and The Kooks, as well as playing numerous successful shows at New York City mainstays such as Citi Field.

The official music video for “Rust to Gold” – directed by Ryan Ewing (Dirty Heads, Eve, JET) and Ben Guzman (Kehlani, Asking Alexandria, Lupe Fiasco) is out now. “Rust to Gold” is now available on all streaming services.
