Lettuce and The Floozies have announced the third annual Rage Rocks. Returning to the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Friday, June 8th, the show will feature support by The Funk Hunters and Jaw Gems. Fan Club pre-sale tickets are available NOW. Early-bird pre-sale begins Thursday, February 1st at 10am MST. General on-sale begins Friday, February 2nd at 10am MST.
A beloved tradition by both bands and their fans, this will mark Lettuce’s fifth time playing at the venue, and The Floozies’ fourth time. As Lettuce Drummer Adam Deitch simply puts it, “Red Rocks is a magical place.”
“It is super intense to play,” explains Lettuce saxophonist, Ryan Zoidis. “The crowd is like a wall in front of you. It really connects us with the fans on a deep energy level that fuels the music. We’ve had some of our best nights of music there since we started playing in that venue. That’s what keeps us coming back every year too.”
Floozies drummer Mark Hill reminisces, “When I was 15, I picked up the album Outta Here by Lettuce and it stayed in the CD player of my Mitsubishi for three months straight. Red Rocks is one of the most beautiful places I’ve been, and to come back again this year and rock that stage along side some of the greatest musicians, friends, and people I know and have looked up to for years is priceless and truly something else.”
Leading up to the show, Lettuce will hit the road on their Beyond the Clouds 2018 headline tour. Comprised of 23-dates, the tour features dates in cities across the country including a two-night run at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY before closing with a double header at the Madison Theater in Covington, KY. Select dates will include support from The Motet or co-bill with Galactic. Full routing below. For additional ticket information, please log on to http://www.lettucefunk.com.
