Conor Oberst played a stunning set at the Ogden Theater Friday night, entrancing the audience with his unparalleled songwriting.
By Veronica Lee
With the full 6 piece band, Conor Oberst visited Denver’s Ogden Theater Friday night. The packed house swooned as Oberst played favorites as Four Winds and Artifact #1 while expertly intertwining the newest music. Beautfilly written and executed live, songs like A Little Uncanny and Too Late to Fixate were among many off his latest full-length studio album, Salutations. The robust, heart-string-tugging complexities of Oberst’s interspective lyrical styling made the large room shrink to intimate while he crooned and played to each and every fan. A beautiful performance by this artist, Oberst continues to shine on stage and on every piece of music he writes.
