“Nashville’s *repeat repeat have an amazing sound that’s rooted in garage rock and psychedelic rock, but possesses the energy and attitude of punk alongside some killer harmony singing that artists in Nashville do better than anyone else. The band’s sound is urgent with slashing guitars, waves of synths, yet beautifully melded to a hazy, sunny California vibe.” – Pop Matters
“Clearly poised to be one of Nashville’s next breakout bands. Heroes of sunny surf rock with their timeless sunny sound, this band’s future looks bright. Their brand of upbeat poppy, sometimes sunkissed surf-style, rock stands out.”

Nashville’s emerging surf indie pop-rock trio, *repeat repeat are thrilled to announce their signing to Dangerbird Records. To celebrate, *repeat repeat has released a sneak peek of their sophomore album with the music video for the track “Plugged In”. CLICK HERE to watch.
Jared Corder the frontman says, “The song was inspired by the Mike Judge film “Idiocracy” in which the world keeps getting dumber. It’s a lot easier to stay “Plugged In” and be a slave to consumption; educating yourself is a lot harder (and scarier) these days. We wanted the song to capture the urgency and necessity of knowledge in a world full of fiction.”
“To us, it made perfect sense to work with Dangerbird. They broke some of our favorite acts, which meant they knew how to get a newer act the right exposure. They are also the perfect size for us to not feel like small fish in a huge pond of artists. We felt like Dangerbird would give us the tools we needed grow and the room to do it the way we wanted to.”
*repeat repeat is your favorite band’s favorite band. Mixing the sunny swoon of Sixties pop with a dark swirl of Warholian garage rock, *repeat repeat create their own geography to match their sound. Based in Nashville, TN — where frontman Jared Corder, drummer Andy Herrin, and vocalist/keys player Kristyn Corder kicked off the band’s career with 2014’s Bad Latitude — the three musicians make pop songs rooted in the spirit of both coasts, looking beyond the borders of their landlocked hometown and, instead, mixing California surf culture and New York street smarts into the same tracklist. They’re a blend of bloom, doom, and boom. They’re Dick Dale’s snot-nosed grandkids. They’re *repeat repeat.
