“…They have made quite the statement in the live event sphere…. It’s no surprise then that the band wanted to capture their live sound and undeniable energy in their forthcoming album, Live at Blue Rock” –Live Nation’s Ones To Watch

Nashville’s emerging alternative rock band, Future Thieves has premiered their new single, “Sucker.” This is a preview to what is in store for their new studio album that is due out later this year. “Sucker” will be available for purchase on March 3rd on all digital streaming platforms and will be hitting the radio on AAA stations and Non-Commercial on March 7th.

The lead singer Elliot says, “’Sucker’ is a song that just came naturally to us musically. It’s sort of a bitter sweet story lyrically. It’s about loving someone or something that can’t exactly love you back or even know you’re alive. Something like the summertime or a girl or boy that just won’t acknowledge your existence.  This song is just a good representation of the kind of tunes we have been working on lately because of its easy flow.  We want people to hear it and just sit back and not have to go to great lengths to over think the song. It’s just an easy listener.”

In support of “Sucker” and their live album, Live at Blue Rock (released on January 13) they will be heading to Austin as one of the official SXSW artists and then heading to Europe. At SXSW they will be featured on the big showcases like The Nashville House, ReverbNation & Killing Moon Records, The Best Lil Big Fest and NoiseTrade/PledgeMusic/Frye Boots. See tour dates below.

Future Thieves are Elliot Collett (vocals/Guitar), Austin McCool (Guitar), Nick Goss (Bassist), and Gianni Gibson (Drums). The Nashville rockers have been together for a little over two years.  In that brief time, they’ve stirred up plenty of attention from fans throughout Music City. The band has grown through continuous touring that is creating a buzz from their live performances, some that include Bonnaroo and Summerfest among others.

Playing live is one the essential elements to Future Thieves’ creative process. The band released their debut album Horizon Line (released in 2015) and then recently Live at Blue Rock that was a collection of melodic rock, high energy Americana songs from their debut album with four new tracks. The records are available now on iTunes and Spotify.
