August Burns Red hit Denver on their 10 year Anniversary Tour of the release of their album Messengers. No doubt their performance on Tuesday was full of as much crowd surfing, gutteral vocals and riff ripping as they offered on the original tour a decade ago. Also on the bill were Protest the Hero, In Hearts Wake and ’68 for a night of heavy rock from open to close. Denver experienced a full lineup of rock heavy artists on this tour and ABR capped the night with a three song encore and not a single heavy metal fan disappointed.
