The 2014 Mosters of Rock Cruise is about to set sail, but first Wolfpack Productions hosted their own Bon Voyage party on Tuesday night, bringing in heavyweights Faster Pussycat & Red Light Saints and other local rockers.
It was anchors aweigh as Dark Could 9 (DC9) slammed the stage with edgy Rock/Metal. Chad Martin took vocals, Kate Kulesh-Crisler was on drums, Brian Blakk on bass, Dustin Carabello on guitar, and Sean Quidgeon on guitar. DC9 rocked a quick set including The Vampire Song and Get Up.
Quitters Anonymous had Peter Hundley on vocals & guitar, Tommy Savoie on guitar, Jon Champ on bass & vocals, and Jamie Wehrung on drums. They played songs off their old release and featured a few songs off their upcoming release next month. Songs included First Time, Lost in the Blinding Light, and Shadows. The Roxy Suicide cruised through their Punk/New Wave set. The Roxy Suicide had Dave Mansfield on bass and vocals, Olieshox on guitar and vocals, Roxy Roller on synth, and Ziggy Starbuck on drums. Check their website; www.theroxysuicide.com.
Out of Green Bay, WI, and on tour with Faster Pussycat was Red Light Saints. Travis took care of vocals, Ben and Lane rocked guitars, Andy played bass, and Luke killed the drums. Follow them on their website; redlightsaints.us.
Faster Pussycat anchored this awesome show. Original founder Taime Downe was on lead vocals and guitar, Xristian Simon on guitar, Danny Nordahl on bass, Chad Stewart on drums, and Ace Von Johnson on guitar. Faster Pussycat entertained from start to finish. They played popular songs from the 80s and showed they could still rock out! They played a ton of songs including Bathroom Wall, You’re so Vain, Pretty Ugly, House of Pain, Slip of the Tongue, and Number 1 with a Bullet.
